HERO (Enrique Iglesias)

Let me be your hero

Would you dance if I asked you to dance?
Would you run and never look back?
Would you cry if you saw me cryin'?
And would you save my soul tonight?

Would you tremble if I touched your lips?
Would you laugh?
Oh please tell me this
Now would you die for the one you loved?
Hold me in your arms tonight

I can be your hero, baby
I can kiss away the pain
I will stand by you forever
You can take my breath away

Would you swear that you'll always be mine?
Or would you lie?
Would you run and hide?
Am I in too deep?
Have I lost my mind?
I don't care, you're here tonight

I can be your hero, baby
I can kiss away the pain
I will stand by you forever
You can take my breath away

Oh, I just want to hold you
I just want to hold you, oh yeah
Am I in too deep?
Have I lost my mind?
Well, I don't care, you're here tonight

I can be your hero, baby
I can kiss away the pain
I will stand by you forever
You can take my breath away

I can be your hero, baby
I can kiss away the pain
And I will stand by you forever
You can take my breath away
You can take my breath away

I can be your hero xxxx

I Love You Dad

I love you Dad with all my heart
And hate that we should be apart
Our love is a bond that can’t be broken
You may be gone, but never forgotten

I remember the day you went away
The pain in my heart is every beat
But I know that eventually, one day
We will, once again meet

The loss is something I can’t describe
I’m really going to miss you
One day I’ll be back by your side
So I can hug and kiss you

There are no words to tell you,
Just what I’m feeling inside
The shock, the hurt, the anger
One day, will gradually subside

Things will never again be the same
And though I’m hurting quite bad
I will smile whenever I hear your name
And be so proud to remember my Dad

Sleep well darling Dad, forever in my heart and my thoughts xxxx

He isn't just a Dad to me

He isn't just a Dad to me,
he guides me through my life,
when no one else seems to care,
He tells me 'It's alright!'
He wraps you up with hugs,
when your feelin' blue.
He'll kiss you on the forehead,
even though you have the flu.
He may not understand your problems,
but he always tries,
even when you do seem silly,
talking 'bout a bunch of guys.
And when you need someone to talk to,
he is always there,
He isn't just a Dad to me,
he is a friend that cares! xxxx

Hope

We always think it won't happen to us...
Then in an instant, without warning, it does.
We are left here on earth with our sadness and tears...
Because in that instant we realized our greatest fears.

We are sad and angry and want to know why...
God took our loved one to live in the sky.
In time our pain and anger will lessen...
And why will be answered when we get to Heaven.

Until then, hold on to your Faith and lean on those that love you...
Because God left them on Earth to help you get through. xxx

A Father

A father never wants to see
His child go astray
Everyday he tries his best
To help you on your way

Knows at times you'll have to fail
Learn things on your own
No matter how it hurts to see
His baby bird has flown

Protector of a youthful heart
Consoler of all pains
A hero in the eyes of love
The blood within your veins

Child love your father now
Give him all your praise
Our time in life is limited
Wisely use these days

Give back all he's given you
This love is something rare
It's flow is unconditional
Strength beyond compare xxxxx

What is dad

A Dad is a person
who is loving and kind,
And often he knows
what you have on your mind.
He's someone who listens,
suggests, and defends.
A dad can be one
of your very best friends!
He's proud of your triumphs,
but when things go wrong,
A dad can be patient
and helpful and strong
In all that you do,
a dad's love plays a part.
There's always a place for him
deep in your heart.
And each year that passes,
you're even more glad,
More grateful and proud
just to call him your dad!
Thank you, Dad...
for listening and caring,
for giving and sharing,
but, especially, for just being you! xxx

Daddy's Poem

I asked god to heal my heart
and comfort my mourning soul
to help me understand,
why you had to go
He said it would make me stronger
and in time I would understand
he said that life is short
so live it while you can

He said you'll always love me
and watch me from above
my heart will never heal
so I'll need alot of love

You'll never be replaced
in my heart you'll always stay
because the love of a father to his daughter
will never fade away xxx

Hero Dad

You are my hero, Dad
You're my secure foundation.
When I think of you, I'm filled with love
And fond appreciation.

You make me feel protected;
I'm sheltered by your care.
You're always my true friend; and Dad,
When I need you, you're always there.

You have a place of honor
Deep within my heart.
You've been my superhero, Dad,
Right from the very start.xxxx

What makes a Dad

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it... Dad xxxx

Dear dad

Not many people have a father like you

We were one of the lucky few

We knew just how much we were loved

For you showed it in all you'd do

Growing up you took the time

To do the special things

That every child would hope to do

Fulfilling our childhood dreams

We always knew we could count on you

That for us you'd always be there

It helped us to grow up secure

Confident in your love and care

And as we started to get older

We weren't the easiest kids to raise

Your patience through our rebellious years

Still leaves us humbled and amazed

And over time we've continued to learn

All the lessons you had to teach

Your example was our instructor

Of the respect a dignified life can reach. xxx
